“All the visits were good and worthwhile and enjoyable but the one that stands out is the one to Probio when we were able to spend time with the farmer and sons in the fields with their pineapples (and tasting them!). He had been one of the founder members of the co-op and was a great advocate for FT and the social premium. We enjoyed a family lunch in the offices of the co-op and then a fascinating visit to see the packing process”
Barbara, Wiltshire
“Heiner was simply excellent in every way. English great, knowledge great and a delight to be with. He and the driver, Gato, were a splendid combination.”
Jonathon & Judith, Bristol
“Fantastic place to go with such variety and so much to see. I think the days we spent in Cahuita were the best because we walked in Nature Reserves and enjoyed spotting the wildlife. It was lovely swimming in the sea.”
Laura, Ceredigion
“We met some wonderful people who were truly committed to improving their own and their families’ lives through fair trade and were keen to share their experience with us.”
“It was good to have the benefit of local/specialist guides who were very knowledgeable and enabled us to get the most out of our visits.”
“A comfortable bus carefully driven.”
“The scenery, flora, and fauna was everything I had hoped for.”
“What an amazing experience. What a fantastic holiday and I would say a life changing two weeks for me!”
“So many highlights, so much to learn, everyone we met was generous with their time and information.”
“Our guide was everything a tour leader should be and was committed to the concept of Meet and People, Fair Trade and working in co-operatives. He was well prepared for all eventualities and well received by all those who were participating in our visit.”
Barbara, Wiltshire
